Cute buys...

I didn't purchase very much this year at Nundle...I do have a lot of wool etc from my Sue Spargo stash....but I did buy these three gorgeous patterns by Bonnie Sullivan. Two are kits and one is just the printed background. I totally love snowmen and always have primitive snowman around the house at Christmas.

I haven't touched our project from Nundle, I have been busy with a new design for frog cottage that I've been working on for a few months...  I am working on the last 36 blocks and then I will sew the top together...

I've been a good girl and have finished 3 quilt tops this year already ...yay me.. I took these quilts to Nundle for show and tell...

It's a west overcast day today...that means sewing for me yay !!!

Countdown to Nundle

It's only two more weeks and I'll be heading to my annual Nundle retreat. So that means busy times, I need to make two swap items, one for the day and one for "our bloggers". Won't tell you which one I'm working on today...but It's something I've really wanted to make for myself, and this is the third time I've made it for a swap...cest la vie

Last week every spare moment, I worked on "fresh" a quilt designed by Camille Roskelley...this quilt is going to be HUGE...

I will have one very happy daughter when this is finished!!!

Focus and breathe

I've pulled out this quilt to finally finish it. Those that know me, know my love for handwork...I rarely sit in front of the machine...

The blocks in this quilt are 24.5".... And consist of 36 blocks...a slow process for me... I decided on 3 rows of 3, but after laying it on the floor for a final layout, I thought it needed to be bigger, so I've madly cut enough blocks for another 7 squares to make a 4x4 layout. This also means a new backing will have to be purchased as the current one will be too small. The things we do....
