Hello sunshine my old friend...

The days are filtered with sun and its warmth can be felt through the crisp cool breeze....add a head cold and that means indoors and sewing.... I spent a day preparing then a day sewing with a bit of knitting in between , hubby has been away for almost two weeks, his brother died last week and this week he has been at the mine, taking some time out....
Today I'm going to spring clean my bedroom and rearrange it to benefit the morning sun...my sewing this week has focussed on The Splendid Sampler, I completed 6 blocks, am soo way behind but slowly catching up.

I have one Old time Kaleidoscope to finish and a lot of Sarah Fielkes blocks too....but I did finish my first pair of socks, will take a pic later....now to make some for the kids arghhh the list continues lol Cant wait for Spring to arrive...

  1. Your blocks are looking great. I'm enjoying seeing all the different fabrics being used. It certainly is nice to see the sun after the dreary winter we have experienced. Here's hoping you get rid of your cold quickly, so you can enjoy it more.
