How could I not say no to a three year old who asks Nanna to make him a Monster quilt...and by next weekend when my daughter and her little family are visiting from Perth. This morning I have traced 1000 circles and now about to trace some monsters...Fingers crossed for me on this one to be finished by Oct 19th.....
Also I have been a good mummy and made some sprinkled cupcakes lol
I made a nice corn chowder for lunch today as a reward for my hubby and son. They weeded the last bed of the vegie garden ready for planting .....so I could concentrate on the monster quilt...yes got distracted lol
Good luck with that big request.....I'm sure you can do it. Fingers crossed.ReplyDelete
Wow that is a 'monster' request....Good Luck xoxoReplyDelete
It's a huge request... but so worth it when finished. Just imagine all the cuddles, hugs and kisses you'll receive from the recipient. :)ReplyDelete
What a lovely Nanna and Mama you are. I am sure you are up to the task.....drooling over the cupcakes.ReplyDelete
Oh wow this is going to be one huge effort and so worth it for the hugs and kisses from the little man :) enjoy the process. hugsReplyDelete
I think you will have to bribe them to do lots of things for you, so you can power on. It will be stunning when it is done.ReplyDelete
Wow... what an effort to get it done in that time frame! Do you think they would notice a few missing circles?ReplyDelete
I did a modified version of this quilt.. only did a band of monsters...they are fun! What a great nana you are!
Can't wait to see it !!!! Lucky you work best under pressure :))?ReplyDelete
Good luck getting those cute monsters finished. Cup cakes are excellent sewing fuel!ReplyDelete
You are the best Nanna and Mummy....ReplyDelete
